About ReadTrips
ReadTrips designs learning trips that connect Kenyan students to the experts, institutions and industries behind what they study. The places students visit become living classrooms, supporting curiosity, critical thinking and clear pathways into careers and university.
What drives us
Why us
Privileged access to acclaimed institutions, start-ups and specialists worldwide, with sessions agreed before students arrive.
Objectives agreed with your teachers, with connections made before, during and after.
Strong supervision, clear learning outcomes and professional coordination.
Behind the scenes

I'm an architect, and I have studied inspiring places and spaces in more than 49 countries, which I curated on my platform, Architectural Journeys. Those journeys led me to start ReadTrips.
They also showed me how much access to other people's creations, stories and cultures shapes the way we learn. My daily goal is helping students reach those people, by visiting creative start-ups, firms, factories, labs, galleries, museums, universities and other institutions, to give them that anchoring moment in their studies.
It might be Swahili markets in Tanga, Picasso's Barcelona, the engineering of the Ruhr Valley or wood craftsmanship in Nagoya. Wherever it is, I work with teachers to design the visit around what their students are learning.

A study trip is planned around what your child is learning, unlike a family holiday. You get curriculum connections, career clarity, and growth in confidence and resilience.
Stories from our trips
The itinerary was really well-planned with a mix of learning and exploring unique spaces. Amazing value for money, too!
Architecture student, University of Nairobi
The trip to Europe was fascinating as much as it was inspirational. It sparked an inner sense of curiosity and excitement.
University of Nairobi
I have been grateful to experience two trips with ReadTrips and they have pushed us to explore the world further: to study abroad, to be leaders and to innovate for a sustainable future.

Partnerships
We are an independent company and take on a limited number of trips each year, so each gets full attention. Our standard group is 19 students. Demand for the strongest trips is high, so we suggest starting 6 to 9 months ahead.
