Overview

The trip

China is one of the world's largest economies, and its history and culture shape the world students will work in.

In Beijing, students visit the Forbidden City and the Great Wall to understand imperial China. In Chengdu, the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base shows how conservation science protects an endangered species. In Shanghai, the Urban Planning Exhibition Center and the Pudong district show how a city planned and built its own transformation within a few decades.
