Overview

The trip

THIMUN The Hague, now in its 59th year, is one of the world's oldest and largest Model United Nations conferences, bringing about 3,200 students and teachers from more than 200 schools in over 100 countries to the World Forum for five days.

Delegates represent countries in simulated UN committees, debate global issues and draft resolutions under formal rules of procedure. ReadTrips prepares the delegation before departure and handles flights, accommodation and visas. Around the conference, students see the Peace Palace, home of the International Court of Justice.
